Yesterday, December 15, the ceremony of the 24th IABsp 2022 Awards – traditional and recognized award in the area of architecture and urbanism – took place, when the winners were announced. The event gathered participants and guests from the area at a cocktail party at Unibes Cultural, in São Paulo.
Organized by the Institute of Architects of Brazil (IAB) – an entity with over one hundred years of existence – the award had 25 projects from 8 Brazilian cities (Careiro da Várzea, Iguape, Iranduba, Jundiaí, Santo André, Recife, São José dos Campos, and São Paulo) awarded.
The winners of the four categories, divided into 12 subcategories won, besides the trophy, the recognition and credibility that the award carries. “This is the longest-running award in the profession and has shown, in recent editions, that it has been able to keep up with the most important agendas of its time,” says Jaime Solares, coordinator of this edition.
