“Arzúa will host, on the next 29, 30 and 31, and on April 1 and 5, a new edition of the project” A Vila do Mañá “, an educational program, directed to schoolchildren from 6 to 14 years old, with which it seeks, through games and art, to involve them in the definition of a concept of a habitable nucleus more open to the enjoyment of its neighbors. The proposal, with limited places, is part of the programming that the municipal Department of Culture designed for this spring.
The offer includes an illustration sample with works M.J. Silver, which will be exhibited from April 16 to 30 at the Rosalía de Castro municipal library. Cultivating the habit of reading is precisely what is pursued with the other activities for that month, on the occasion of the celebration, on the 23rd, of Book Day. That day, the schools of Arzúa will host the illustrated storyteller «Mulleres Galegas. Xela Arias”, from the company Polo Correo do Vento. And until the end of the month, there will be a campaign to encourage reading.”
