The O Porriño Town Council is launching “A Vila do Mañá,” an innovative educational, cultural, and urban initiative that aims to empower the municipality’s children and adolescents to play an active role in shaping the future of their town.

The project “A Vila do Mañá” continues developing its work in Rianxo with a new urban initiative created together with students from the IES Félix Muriel.
“The initiative, awarded at the Ibero-American Biennial of Architecture, arrives at schools to rethink the town from the perspective of children.”
Students from schools in Ponteareas take part in the project “The Town of Tomorrow,” an initiative in which they will work together with architects from the University of A Coruña to choose their favorite places in public spaces.
