“The Ministry of Environment, Territory and Housing will study the possibility of collaborating in a new educational project driven from the field of architecture and aimed at Galician children and adolescents.

This is what councilor Ángeles Vázquez and architect Sandra González Álvarez, promoter of the educational and informative initiative A vila do moraan, which has been carried out so far in around 15 Galician municipalities and whose objective is that, from childhood and through play, awareness is created on all scales of common space: architecture, heritage, urbanism and landscape.

In the same way, as he explained to the councillor, it is also sought to bring the architectural discipline to the world of two children so that there is an exchange of knowledge and the professionals can approach the vision of the towns and cities that the new generations have.

To this end, A vila do moraan proposes to carry out a whole series of workshops given by students from the Escola Técnica Superior de Arquitectura, adapted in each case to the age of the two participants and us that the street becomes an authentic operational space, making available to children and teenagers all the necessary tools to develop their creativity from art and architecture.

In this sense, Ángeles Vázquez celebrated that initiatives like this put the focus on urbanism, the landscape and the relationship we have with our environment from a very early age, seeking active involvement by the new generations in the construction processes of neighborhoods, cities and squares and the improvement of abandoned or deteriorated environments due to the impact of so-called urban feism.

For his part, González stressed the importance of contact between different generations to guarantee a two-way learning, because the participating children “discover what is behind two walls” of buildings around them, such as, for example, Casa do Concello.

It should be remembered that the Consellería has also collaborated since 2000 with the Official College of Architects called Project Terra, a program of pedagogical activities that takes place in educational centers throughout Galicia with the aim of educating and generating a critical spirit among Primary and Secondary students in relation to architecture and landscape.”

Así o acordaron hoxe a conselleira Ángeles Vázquez, e a arquitecta Sandra González Álvarez, promotora da iniciativa de carácter pedagóxico e divulgativo A vila do mañá, que xa se levou a cabo ata o momento en ao redor de 15 concellos galegos e cuxo obxectivo é que, desde a infancia e a través do xogo, se cree conciencia sobre todas as escalas do espazo común: a arquitectura, o patrimonio, o urbanismo e a paisaxe.

De igual xeito, tal e como lle explicou á conselleira, tamén se busca levar a disciplina arquitectónica ao mundo dos nenos para que haxa un intercambio de coñecementos e os profesionais se poidan achegar á visión das vilas e cidades que teñen as novas xeracións.

Para iso, A vila do mañá propón a realización de toda unha serie de obradoiros impartidos por estudantes da Escola Técnica Superior de Arquitectura, adaptados en cada caso á idade dos participantes e nos que a rúa se converte nun auténtico espazo operativo, poñendo a disposición de nenos e adolescentes todas as ferramentas necesarias para que desenvolvan a súa creatividade desde a arte e a arquitectura.

Neste sentido, Ángeles Vázquez celebrou que iniciativas como esta poñan o foco sobre o urbanismo, a paisaxe e a relación que mantemos co noso entorno desde idades moi temperás, buscando unha implicación activa por parte das novas xeracións nos procesos de construción dos barrios, cidades e prazas e na mellora das contornas abandonadas ou deterioradas polo impacto do chamado feísmo urbanístico.

Pola súa parte, González subliñou a importancia do contacto entre diferentes xeracións para garantir unha aprendizaxe bidireccional, pois os nenos participantes “descobren o que hai detrás dos muros” de edificios da súa contorna como, por exemplo, a Casa do Concello.

Cómpre lembrar que a Consellería tamén colabora desde o ano 2000 co Colexio Oficial de Arquitectos no chamado Proxecto Terra, un programa de actividades pedagóxicas que se desenvolve en centros educativos de toda Galicia co obxectivo de educar e xerar espírito crítico entre o alumnado de Primaria e Secundaria en relación coa arquitectura e a paisaxe.“

En este sentido, Ángeles Vázquez celebró que iniciativas como esta pongan el foco sobre el urbanismo, el paisaje y la relación que mantenemos con nuestro entorno desde edades muy tempranas, buscando una implicación activa por parte de las nuevas generaciones en los procesos de construcción de los barrios, ciudades y plazas y en la mejora de los entornos abandonados o deteriorados por el impacto del llamado feísmo urbanístico.

Por su parte, González subrayó la importancia del contacto entre diferentes generaciones para garantizar un aprendizaje bidireccional, pues los niños participantes “descubren lo que hay detrás de los muros” de edificios de su entorno como, por ejemplo, la Casa del Ayuntamiento.

Esta iniciativa de carácter divulgativo ya se ha puesto en práctica en unos 15 ayuntamientos de Galicia y su objetivo es acercar a los más jóvenes, a través del juego, la consciencia de las escalas en los espacios comunes: la arquitectura, el patrimonio, el urbanismo y el paisaje.

‘A vila do mañá’ se desarrolla a través de talleres impartidos por estudiantes de la Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura, adaptados a las edades de los niños, y en los que la calle se convierte en un espacio operativo. De este modo, se ponen a disposición de los jóvenes las herramientas necesarias para que desarrollen su creatividad desde el arte y la arquitectura.

“”A Vila do Mañá” will include workshops for six days

Silleda wants to bring the identity of towns and cities closer through game dynamics for children, in an informative and educational initiative that seeks to raise awareness about architecture, heritage, urbanism and the everyday landscape. The program, named A Vila do Mañá, will take place over a week and is aimed at children between the ages of 5 and 14. It will take place from June 28 to July 3.

This type of informative project, which is equally committed to entertainment and education, was developed in previous years in other Galician towns and also reached cities such as San Paulo in Brazil. The activities will take place through the streets of Silleda, in the morning and afternoon, coordinated by monitors. They will be free for those registered in the municipality, with 40 offers. Starting next week, interested parties will be able to register at the town hall. The program will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., except for the last day on Saturday, which will only be in the morning hours.

A Vila do Mañá is jointly organized by the Departments of Culture, Education and Urban Planning. The educational project was designed by the POSTarqueitectos studio. Silleda quiere acercar mediante dinámicas de juego para la infancia la identidad de las villas y ciudades, en una iniciativa divulgativa y educativa que persigue concienciar sobre la arquitectura, el patrimonio, el urbanismo y el paisaje cotidiano. El programa, bautizado como A Vila do Mañá, se desarrollará durante una semana y está dirigido a niños de entre 5 y 14 años. Tendrá lugar del 28 de junio al 3 de julio.

Este tipo de proyecto divulgativo, que apuesta por lo lúdico y lo educativo a partes iguales, se desarrolló en años anteriores en otras localidades gallegas y llegó también a ciudades como San Paulo en Brasil. Las actividades se llevarán a cabo por las calles de Silleda, en horario de mañana y tarde, coordinadas por monitores. Tendrán carácter gratuito para los inscritos del municipio, con 40 plazas ofertas. Desde la próxima semana los interesados podrán anotarse en la casa consistorial. El programa se desarrollará de 9.00 a 14.00 y de 17.00 a 20.00 horas, excepto la última jornada de sábado que solo será en horario matinal.

 

A Vila do Mañá está organizada de forma conjunta por las concejalías de Cultura, de Educación y de Urbanismo. Como trasfondo figura acercar a los más pequeños cómo se puede recuperar la identidad de las localidades y que sean lugar de encuentro e intercambio. El proyecto educativo fue diseñado por el estudio POSTarqueitectos. Se busca que niños y adolescentes estén presentes de forma activa en el proceso de construcción de espacios comunes, dotándoles de herramientas para desarrollar su creatividad desde el arte y la arquitectura.

La promotora de la iniciativa, Sandra González, destacó ayer durante su presentación, acompañada por las concejales de Educación, Ángela Troitiño, y de Urbanismo, Pili Peón, que «o fin é provocar neles e espertar unha nova mirada sobre os espazos nos que desenvolven a súa vida». Silleda se convertirá durante esos seis días en un gran tablero de juego y laboratorio de experimentación, transformándose las calles en algo nuevo a descubrir si se miran y recorren con otros ojos. Está elaborado con elementos característicos del municipio trasdezano, a modo de juego de la oca.

 

La arquitecta Sandra González incidió además en que «é importante que dende pequenos coñezamos o valor do noso territorio para ser conscientes e saber coidalo o día de mañá». Los talleres se estructurarán a través de los conceptos de percepción, espacio, paisaje, escala, sustentabilidad y villa, junto con herramientas como el punto, la línea, el plano y lo tridimensional.

En definitiva se busca concebir la localidad como espacio de juego recuperando ideas propuestas por el holandés Aldo Van Eyck y premias de Francesco Tonucci, creador del programa A cidade dos nenos, dando protagonismo a este colectivo de edad para impulsar la recuperación del territorio para la ciudadanía. El programa se desarrolló ya con éxito en los últimos años en distintos puntos de Galicia, desde Vilagarcía a Carballo, Arzúa o Ames, además de Arteixo, Rianxo, Malpica, Cambados o Santiago, entre otros.

¿Cómo podemos recuperar la identidad de nuestros pueblos y ciudades? ¿Cómo podrían volver a ser de nuevo lugar de encuentro y de intercambio? Algunas de estas cuestiones llevaron en su día al estudio PØSTarquitectos a crear el proyecto A Vila do Mañá, para que, desde la dinámica del juego, la infancia tome conciencia de la arquitectura, el patrimonio tangible e intangible, el urbanismo y el paisaje. Esta iniciativa lúdico educativa, que ya se desarrolló en los últimos años en distintas localidades gallegas y en Sao Paulo (Brasil), llegará a Silleda del 28 de junio al 3 de julio.

A Vila do Mañá ofrecerá talleres gratuitos coordinados por monitores en horario de mañana (9:00-14:00) y de tarde (17:00-20:00) en las calles de Silleda; el sábado, último día, solo en sesión matinal. Está abierta a niños del municipio de entre 5 y 14 años, previa inscripción, que podrá formalizarse a partir de la próxima semana. En principio, se ofertan 40 plazas.

El reto principal es que la infancia y la adolescencia estén presentes de forma activa en el proceso de construcción de espacios comunes, dotándolos de las herramientas necesarias para desarrollar su creatividad desde el arte y la arquitectura. “El fin es provocar en ellos y despertar una nueva mirada sobre los espacios en los que desarrollan su vida”, explica la arquitecta Sandra González Álvarez, promotora de la iniciativa, que participó en su presentación junto a las concejalas de Educación, Ángela Troitiño, y Urbanismo, Pilar Peón, departamentos organizadores junto al de Cultura, que dirige Mónica González Conde.

Silleda, a vila do mañá tomará la localidad como un tablero de juego y un laboratorio de experimentación, transformándola en “algo nuevo a descubrir si se mira y se recorre con otros ojos”. El tablero estará hecho con elementos característicos del municipio, concebido como un original e inédito juego de la oca. “Es importante que desde pequeños conozcamos el valor de nuestro territorio para ser conscientes y saber cuidarlo el día de mañana”, explica Sandra González. Las actividades se estructurarán a través de seis conceptos fundamentales: la percepción, el espacio, el paisaje, la escala, la sostenibilidad y la villa, con herramientas como el punto, la línea, el plano y el elemento tridimensional.

Concibe la villa como espacio de juego, recuperando ideas propuestas por el holandés Aldo van Eyck y premisas del italiano Francesco Tonucci –creador de La ciudad de los niños– con el objetivo de que los niños actúen como vanguardia de la recuperación del territorio para la ciudadanía. Vilagarcía, Carballo, Arzúa, Ames, Rianxo, Cambados, Arteixo, Malpica o Santiago son algunas de las localidades que avalan su éxito.
